By using highly efficient computer programed robotics, their clients realized substantial savings in time, labor, and capital when compared to traditional costly, labor intensive, out-of-service inspection methods. Simplify maintenance scheduling and optimize maintenance budgets with Manta Robotics’ state of the art tank inspection technology. Manta Robotics performs the internal portion of the American Petroleum Institute (API) 653 robotic inspections of above ground petrochemical storage tanks. This is performed while they are “in-service” and full of product. Manta employs a “Purged and Pressurized” robot. The Floor Inspection Robot surveys tank floor bottoms with Ultrasonic Transducers (UT).
